Stephanie Rowton

Stephanie Rowton is Senior Director within Product Management at S&P Dow Jones Indices (S&P DJI). Stephanie leads the strategic direction of S&P DJI's Tokenization initiative and manages the U.S. equity product team. Stephanie works closely with Web3 Natives, asset managers, asset owners, investment banks, DeFi platforms and cross functional teams. S&P DJI has a diverse spectrum of U.S. equity indices from mainstream indices such as the S&P 500® and S&P 500 Equal Weight Index, to sustainability indices such as the S&P 500 Scored & Screened Index. Stephanie also led the tokenization of the S&P 500® Index SPXA to position S&P DJI as a leader in the rapidly evolving financial landscape. Prior to joining S&P DJI in 2021, Stephanie spent 10 years at Allianz Global Investors, where she worked as an investment strategist and as a portfolio manager for a global unconstrained environmental, social and governance (ESG) equity fund. Stephanie has also worked for NASDAQ's European data team and for the FAIRR Initiative, which enables investors exercise their influence as responsible stewards of capital. Stephanie has completed her Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) and her Legal Practice Course (LPC) from the University of Law, London Moorgate and holds a BA (hons) in art history from the University of Manchester.
